Pros

Exposure to real-life problems, a huge talent pool within the company, great employee benefits, and a huge network of support staff.

Could travel to customer sites as an intern.

Rewards if you work well.

Within this field engineering job sector, there is a lot of travel involved.

Cons

Hiring freeze within the business.

Long hours and travel, but it is rewarded well. Constant travelling could be seen as a hassle for some employees, but you really need to fit the job description. If you enjoy being on the road, it's definitely not a con.
