Cons: Bureaucracy, labor-management disputes, lack of teamwork, and lacking leadership.

Good Benefits, Old Management Styles

Pros: Overall, GM of Canada was a good place to work. Initially, it provided a great benefits package and opportunity for training. However, due to economic times, things have changed for employees at GM.
Cons: Old-school thinking and management styles.
Too many layers of middle management.
Very little room for career advancement.
Unionized hourly labor force, generally difficult to work with, which inhibits growth and advancement of the company.
Old boys' club.
