Exciting product; many wonderful and intelligent coworkers; the company is so large that you can have many different jobs all within the company!
Trying to be cutting edge and efficient (aka cutting resources), most people I know working at GM have too much on their plate, and it’s infeasible to do in any semblance of a normal workday. There is very little work-life balance.
The first interview was virtual and did not include any persons. There are questions listed, and you are to record your answer. The second interview process consisted of four situation/behavioral questions, which took over an hour and a half.
Overall, easy questions. They asked questions from my experience and resume. I applied online, and the recruiter called me the same day. First, I had an interview with the hiring manager, which was pretty cool. The technical interview also went well
Was only given a behavioral interview that consisted of 2 behavioral questions and 2 technical questions. It follows the STAR concept very thoroughly. If you don't answer one part of the STAR method, they will ask you about it in more detail.
