Pros

The interview process follows the Lominger competency model, and questions are predictable.

Salary and benefits are competitive.

Cons

Too much detachment of management to subordinate levels in the team. A worker should not be completely beholden to his/her boss without upper management review and oversight. Abuse occurs because incompetent managers don't lead or manage their workers effectively, and they receive neither adequate training nor restraint/constraint from their own leadership.

Advice to Management

Do not be detached and insular from your second and third level subordinates. Get to know your people. Take an interest in their careers and personal development. Review each and every one of their performance reviews and mid-term feedback reports and question negative comments in said personnel reports.
