I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn as a possible fit and scheduled a Zoom session with another recruiter 3 days later. The recruiter on the phone was late and didn't apologize.
When we began the interview, it didn't even feel like a conversation. He was only reading from a questionnaire and updating his file with my response. It was so difficult to carry the whole conversation as this gentleman was not even remotely interested in talking to me.
I got a response 48 hours later that I didn't pass the phone screen, upon which I requested some feedback to understand what they were looking for. There was no response, thus I sent the recruiter another email 10 days later. Again, nothing.
My advice: Educate recruiters to provide feedback even if it's negative. People invest time to prepare for those calls, and the least you can do is reply back.
