Process

I applied through LinkedIn and got a call from the recruiter after a week. Then, I received a call from HR after three days, which lasted about half an hour. The HR reviewed my resume and asked several general behavioral questions. After two more days, an interview was scheduled with a senior software developer. This interview lasted for about 45 minutes. The developer reviewed my resume, asked me to describe my favorite project, and then posed a few technical questions, mostly involving JavaScript, C++, and object-oriented programming. I was then given a skills test immediately. The test was sent online and powered by HackerRank. I had five days to take the test before it expired. The duration of the test was about 90 minutes.

The test had three sections:

  • The first section was multiple-choice questions.
  • The next two sections were programming sections.
  • The second section included two small tasks involving editing code and predicting the output.
  • The third section was an actual programming question.
