Cons

Management turnaround is common.

Young managers are promoted to roles which they are unable to fulfil.

There is an unstable environment related to constant changes and reorganisation.

Many people reached total burnout and were forced either to leave or to take sick leave.

Technological debt left from some uncompetent teams in the past created so much trouble and code complexity.

The company is trying to align with US-based GoDaddy, but there are so many different libraries and approaches undertaken by different teams. Some codebases are poorly maintained and undocumented.

Several management positions are occupied by young people at their first or second job experience.

Advice to Management

Often promotions are given based on seniority in the company and not based on true competence or experience.

The internal company politics is overwhelming, and there should be more meritocracy.

  • Employees should be treated like people first and not as a number.
  • The company is constantly trying to embrace ethical, diverse, and inclusive values, but is far from the truth on a practical level.
