Pros: There are many different technologies used at Goldman Sachs. Overall, the tech stack is modern, with many opportunities to learn. Pay is decent for the DFW area.
Cons: Very stressful working environment. There is constantly a push to make "impact," and politics play a large role in the promotion process. Management is quick to blame when something goes wrong, but does nothing to celebrate accomplishments. Senior team members with a long tenure at GS are allowed to treat others however they want without repercussions.
