They took a test and shortlisted a few students.
The interview consisted of simple algorithmic questions.
One was to generate a permutation given a list of integers (essentially to shuffle a pack of cards). Another was about the Java Virtual Machine and the garbage collector.
The questions were simple, and they asked around 7-8 easy questions.
