I received an email from my friend about a requirement at Goldman Sachs. So, I applied and got a link to a HackerRank test containing two simple questions, which I completed in about 20 minutes. After four to five days, I received another email stating I was selected for the further interview process and needed to attend a technical interview on CoderPad the following day. I prepared for it.
The very next day, I received a call saying to get ready for the interview in the next ten minutes. I logged into CoderPad and waited for the interview to start. However, no one showed up for the next two hours. I wasted my time waiting for the interview to begin.
When I emailed Goldman Sachs about it, they didn't bother to reply. This behavior is not expected from a company like this. I hope HR from Goldman reads this and replies here if they can.
