Pros

Lots to work on and a huge opportunity to grow. Relevant if you are only starting out your career.

Mobility is encouraged and surprisingly easy.

Cons

Not a meritocracy as advertised – you really only get rewarded when there is representation up your division's leadership chain.

Lots to work on as a pro is only based on the con of deliberate understaffing.

Non-existent work-from-home package if you are not on the revenue side. The firm's policy has in fine print that you are responsible for all work-from-home equipment, which is okay for temporary, one-off situations. But post-COVID, there has been zero firm support, even when people now have to use personal devices for work full-time.

Pipelines are being created for minorities into tech, but the firm's culture is not rapidly changing to improve retention.

Advice to Management

Focus on how to make the workplace convenient for women and minorities so they are able to rise up the ranks and earn what they truly deserve.
