Process

Initial contact from the recruiter set up a time for a phone discussion. It was cordial and amiable.

A time was set for the phone technical interview with the help of a scheduler.

From then on, it was all downhill.

The technical interviewer did not show up on the specified date/time. The interview was rescheduled to a later date/time, a few weeks out.

That interview was a total nightmare, far from being positive. The interviewer lacked basic professional etiquette, was condescending, rude, and arrogant in his communication, and came across as a bully. He appeared not to be interested at all in conducting the interview, and his style of questioning and interviewing skills were subpar. His attitude, coupled with the technical and logistical problems (ineffective and poor phone lines, etc.), turned out to be a total disaster.

I lost interest in the opportunity within 10 minutes of the technical interview.

I have no interest in Google anymore and will not be interviewing there again.
