Applied through a referral at Google Careers while in college. Completed their first automated interview with no human interaction, which was absurdly easy. This was followed by a phone interview that was not too difficult, and then an onsite that ranged from average to semi-difficult. All problems had many parts with increasing difficulty.
All onsite interviews felt very good, but all phone interviews felt a little impersonal.
