As a graduate student, I received an email from a Google recruiter. They explained that they found me through my college and noticed that I was graduating soon.

I sent in my resume and had a simple phone interview, followed by a technical interview two weeks later.

A few days after the technical interview, I heard back. I was given no feedback as to why they would not follow up with the next series of interviews.

The recruiter was very nice, but the technical interviewer seemed like they wanted nothing to do with me.

Overall, it was a great chance to study up on computer science concepts that I had not looked at in a while.
