Process

It was a phone interview for about an hour, mainly focused on coding. I applied online, my resume was shortlisted, and I was invited for a telephonic interview. The first 10 minutes were introductions and quick resume-related questions. She jumped quickly to the coding question.

Questions

Given a string, return true if, after jumbling or rearranging its characters, it can form a palindrome, and false otherwise.

For example: Given the string "evlel", it can be rearranged to "level", which is a palindrome, so the function should return true. Given the string "1234", it cannot be rearranged to form a palindrome, hence the function should return false.
