I made it through step 4 and was rejected at that stage. The interview process spanned across two months, so I would suggest you keep that in mind. You are able to rush through the process if you schedule the phone call and on-site interviews one after the other. However, Google isn't a company for which you'd want to rush through the process half-prepared.
Take as much time as you need to prepare; the recruiters are generally nice about it and they do give you ample time.
