Process

I applied for a Software Engineering Intern position online and heard back in one week. Two 45-minute phone interviews were scheduled.

I spoke with two different Googlers. The interviews were about coding.

  • The first interview problem was to return the median of two sorted arrays. I first clarified the problem, and the interviewer was nice. I had encountered this problem before and finished it quickly. The interviewer said it was buggy, and I corrected the bugs. In the remaining minutes, I asked some questions about the company.
  • The second interview problem was to return the binary string of an integer.
