A recruiter called me and scheduled a phone interview. The interviewer asked me to program on Google Docs. The question was: Given two integer arrays, find the common and different numbers.
I used a hash table to implement the algorithm. I spent too much time on C++ syntax, as I haven't used it for a couple of years.

Pros: The internship program is well-structured with formal onboarding. Tasks have clear goals, and the code contributes to real products. Team members are technically strong and open to questions. The work environment is comfortable with comprehensive facilities.
Cons: Internal systems are complex and require time to get familiar with.

Pros: Great perks: food, gym, snacks, casual attire, a fun environment, and lots of company-sponsored events.
Cons: Like any corporation, management seems to only care about what they can put on their resume. But since this is the case pretty much anyplace you work, it's hard to really state it as a con. Towards the end, however, management started to micromanage a bit too much. This took away from the casual environment that once made working at Google so great, as employees felt emboldened and had better output.
