Heavy focus on cutting-edge AI. Compensation is excellent. Google Irvine is a super office facility, with excellent common areas, food, and a gym.
Unlike in the past, Google is very much a "big corporation" now. There's much more red tape than previously. Morale is down after waves of layoffs. Antisemitism is tolerated under the guise of "bring your whole self to work".
Bring back transparency from the old days. Stop tolerating disruptive activist employees and focus on work.
