I was contacted by a recruiter and given a phone interview. After passing the phone interview, I was scheduled for an on-site interview. My interview spanned two days. On the first day, I interviewed with four engineers and received a free lunch.

I went through a round of phone interviews, two online questions, another round of phone interviews, and then 4 rounds of interviews at Google HQ. All of my interviewers were friendly and helpful.

I got a LeetCode medium question, a software design and architecture question, and then some really abstract and strange, open-ended questions not at all related to the job. It felt a little like mockery.
