Cost cutting is affecting the company at multiple layers. The team is shrinking (or moving to lower cost regions) and morale is in the dumps.
Leaders lack vision. They just want to make their report chain happy.
Think longer term, more broadly. Sometimes what you want or what your report chain wants is not what’s good for the people and the company.
And hire better people.
