I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn. We planned to schedule an interview in March. The recruiter left his job but referred me to his colleague, who then scheduled the interview with an engineer at Google. The initial interview was conducted

I received a call informing me of the interview process. I was told that they would send me a coding skills test. If I passed, I would move on to more skills tests in person.

Got the interview with a reference from one of the Googlers. Had two 45-minute phone interviews.
