Overall, the process was pretty standard. The recruiter was responsive and provided good preparation for each stage. Most of the interviewers were prepared and knowledgeable.

One interviewer, however, was not prepared. They didn't understand the question, nor the very basic algorithm I applied. They were also standoffish and surly the entire time.

I quickly implemented my solution after asking clarification questions. This interviewer repeatedly stated that my algorithm shouldn't work, despite me demonstrating its validity with numerous test cases, explaining my implementation, and providing the correct time and space complexity. They insisted I make changes to my solution based on their ideas. I humored them to show that their proposed changes wouldn't pass the test cases I had set up. Notably, this was a "medium" LeetCode question.

At the end, the interviewer assured me not to worry and that I had done well.

I was later rejected in favor of someone who received slightly higher technical marks.

This single interviewer soured the overall experience, especially considering they were slated to be on my team. Even if I had progressed to the offer round, there were significant concerns that would need addressing before I would consider joining this team.

Again, most people I interacted with were pleasant to great, with this one notable exception.

I don't want to dissuade others from applying, as I believe Gopuff could be a great place to work. I am simply relaying my experience.

One coding challenge was creating a data structure with O(1) lookup for a provided key, plus the history of each value for each key given a particular timestamp (integer-based).
