Pros: Upper management provides various support for employees growth, e.g. making the adoption of AI tools mandatory for employees, which not only benefits the company's productivity but also employees' growth.
Cons: Recently there's a new policy introduced for SE roles, i.e. G3 has 4 years to be promoted to G4 (senior), and G4 has 5 years to be G5 (lead). Crossing that will mean getting PIP and retrenched.
