A recruiter called and scheduled a technical phone interview.
A person called with a thick Asian accent and asked basic questions. They weren't listening most of the time. At some points, they stated, "You did not answer the question," and when I asked what the answer should be, they repeated exactly what I had answered, which was very frustrating.
Then, with 20 minutes left, they asked me to implement a coding question. The question was very hard and would take more than 40 minutes. I asked if it was okay to provide a naive answer since we didn't have much time, and they said, "Sure."
Finally, they seemed eager to leave, answered my questions very quickly, and ended with, "Do you have more questions?"
Overall, the interview was really bad and not professional. I would definitely have declined to continue the interview process if they had asked me to.
