Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India

July 1, 2019
Neutral ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Campus hiring process.

The process consisted of an online test, followed by two technical interviews, one Hiring Manager round, and finally an HR round. I made it to the Hiring Manager round.

Technical questions covered matrices, Topological Sorting, BST, projects, and general questions on Computer Networking (CN), Operating Systems (OS), and Database Management Systems (DBMS).

The Hiring Manager requested a system design and asked many questions on CN. I was rejected in this round due to insufficient preparation in CN.

Although the process was good, it could have been more organized and professional.

Questions

Questions on matrices pertaining to:

  • Optimization of transitive closure
  • Topological sorting
  • BST node swap (code for all)
