Software Engineer Interview Experience - Singapore

Process

The online assessment was on Codility, with two questions comparable to LeetCode easy. Codility scores are based on performance and correctness, neither of which you can easily test on the platform. This, I feel, brought my score rather low (<80%), but I still passed the OA.

The OA was followed by a phone call from HR to schedule the batch interview, which happened quite soon after the OA.

The batch interview took place on Zoom about a week after the OA was completed. It was separated into two one-hour blocks: one for coding and one for system design. I enjoyed the interview with the recruiters and thought it went well.

However, this is when I stopped receiving any emails from HR without word of the interview's outcome.

Questions

Batch interview coding:

  • 1 LeetCode backtracking/DFS hard
  • 1 LeetCode path search easy/medium
