Upper management provides various support for employees growth, e.g. making the adoption of AI tools mandatory for employees, which not only benefits the company's productivity but also employees' growth.
Recently there's a new policy introduced for SE roles, i.e. G3 has 4 years to be promoted to G4 (senior), and G4 has 5 years to be G5 (lead). Crossing that will mean getting PIP and retrenched.
