Top-down management. Regional management in Singapore dictates how Grab operates in each country. Low-level Grabbers (Seniors and below) are rarely consulted on things like how teams are structured. It seems like high-level leaders enjoy experimenting without collecting feedback from their grunt workers.
Leading from the point above, Grab is currently heavily centralized, and the entire organization feels bloated and confusing to navigate.
Low-level leaders aren't empowered to make decisions for their teams.
POPs (Grab's HR department) has, in my opinion, been slightly hostile towards Grabbers recently and tone-deaf with their concerns.
Less centralization, listen to the grunts on the ground, and empower your lower-level leaders to make decisions for your team. Also, stop shifting teams and their scope around.
