I received the interview call via a consultant. It was the worst experience I've had in my entire career, primarily because I felt the HR was very unprofessional. It was a full-day process, and they made me wait until 2:45 PM without arranging lunch. That's the last thing you expect when you go to a company for an interview.
The first round focused on problem-solving and technology. Some questions were surprising, like "What is J2EE?" Then there were programming and problem-solving questions. I felt the interviewer was not open to discussion and was expecting specific answers he had in mind (I am perfectly fine with that).
The second round seemed to indicate the interviewer was not interested in meeting the candidate. He rushed in and didn't even bother to introduce himself. I solved the problem given to me, but again, I felt the interviewer had a specific answer in mind and was expecting that. The second round concluded in 35 minutes, and I was asked to wait until someone arranged lunch.
I waited from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM in the same meeting room. After not seeing anyone, I called HR. He said he would be back in two minutes, but I had to wait until 2:40 PM. Finally, he came to me after I called him again and told him I was going out for lunch.
The third round was the only quality round. The interviewer asked some good questions and was open to discussion. This was the only positive experience I had in the entire process.
Later, I was told they would get back to me with feedback since the panel had mixed responses and needed to discuss with the hiring manager, who was busy at the time. However, they never did.
