After working very well remotely for the past few years, management is forcing some people back to the office one or two days per week. This only applies to those who live near an office, which is maybe 70-80% of people. This has negligible benefit, as it is a very distributed company with many remote workers and offices around the country. It hurts recruitment and work-life balance.
There is uncertainty on stock price and a possible sale of the company, hopefully not a problem.
Drop the Return to Office mandate! Nobody likes it and it is hurting your chances to recruit great talent that we need in this difficult recruiting market.
I was contacted by a recruiter in January 2025 and scheduled a first-round live-coding interview with a tech lead. She was very helpful and supportive, and it was probably the least stressful live-coding I've ever done. The interview involved coding
The interview process included: * Two programming sessions * One system design round * A final meeting with the manager The process was smooth, and HR provided information on how to prepare for each round. After the last round, I received the offer
Easy. Interviewer was very helpful. Design question: Design a restaurant search for diners. Coding: Grid manipulation. Merge intervals to calculate driver pay. Behavior: Past experiences. Situation when you took a decision based on data.
