I had to go through a three-stage process.
The first stage was a code screening test using a vendor, Codility. This stage proved to be the toughest due to the complexity of the questions. It primarily tested the application of algorithms to solve problems.
The next stage was a live coding test. The interviewer gave a set of questions regarding Java theory for me to answer and also presented a coding question that I had to solve in front of them.
Finally, the last stage was a regular interview.
Throughout the process, the recruiter was very engaging and responsive. They set up the interviews well, and everything went smoothly.
They asked what the final 'word' does in Java.
