Process

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the interview process. The company was remarkably effective in bringing humanity into the interviews, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. Upon receiving my acceptance via phone, Gusto even had my interviewers on the line to explain how I performed well and why I was accepted for the position.

  • 60-minute OA with 3 relatively easy questions (mostly LeetCode easys).
  • 15-minute phone screen to determine location preference (everyone passes).
  • 60-minute technical screen (not a LeetCode question, but roughly the difficulty of a medium).
  • Final round: 30-minute behavioral followed by a 90-minute technical.
    • For the behavioral portion, study the company's principles and figure out how you embody them (with examples).
    • For the technical portion, you will be given a relatively easy real-life question. If you've made it this far, you should have the capability to solve it. Ensure you explain your thought process effectively during the technical portion.
