Clear issues with management for early-career engineers (very arbitrary guidelines on what performance looks like), lack of support for CX/Sales teams, and a lack of transparency while maintaining the feeling that transparency is still there.
Invest more in setting up your younger engineers for success, with an emphasis on objective performance goals. Don't set up early L1/L2 engineers with managers who are out of touch with what early-level engineering looks like.
