I applied in-person.
The process is good, but they initially agreed to a salary range. After clearing all the rounds, they said it is possible only because I am an internal employee with an external offer who applied for the role internally. Once all the rounds were cleared, they said that due to HR policy they can't give any hike and I should go with my current CTC. If that was the case, why didn't they say it upfront and waste my time?
Questions
The task was an in-memory KV store implementation in Go.
