Do not waste time applying here.

I applied online and received a call from HR in a day or so. They set up a call for an initial phone screen. When I applied online, I also submitted my resume. The hiring manager conducted the initial interview. The first question was why HashiCorp, and based on my resume, it wasn't a good match. If that were the case, why did they call me for an interview? This is still puzzling. I explained why my work is relevant to the product they are working on, but the person was not at all interested and killed the time by asking some random questions.

After a day or two, I got a call from HR saying they were going ahead with other candidates.

Request to Hiring Managers: If you are sure about the resume not matching the requirement, do not waste people's time.

Same as explained above.
