Pros: - A very high growth environment that is ripe for taking initiative and responsibility - Incredible talent density and several company internal rituals to both share knowledge and accelerate co-worker growth - Impact-driven work with a very clear ownership model, where you will have pronounced independence but also responsibility along with it - Culture, and the core company values have remained stable throughout its lifetime - Flat hierarchies, and you don’t expect to be micro-managed or to have work laid out for you, as you’ll be expected to figure out what is the best way to solve a problem

Cons: - Work hours: the flip side of the impact-driven work is that sometimes this can materialize as crunch time, and with prioritization this isn’t a given, though. - Variance in payroll: very individual-driven and custom-tailored, which can lead to big differences in pay, even if at the same technical level. Management tries to proactively close this gap, though. - Pressure to deliver: with high ambition and impact also comes pressure to deliver, which you should be able to handle to work effectively.

Pros: - You are surrounded by lots of smart people - Great salary

Cons: - Curiosity and awareness of other projects and teams than your own is seen as a bad thing. - Ridiculous expectations of work hours. They think that because they pay highly they own you and you should work constant overtime. They then say that they aren't asking for you to work overtime but complain that you're not completing enough work when you don't. - Constantly firing people without giving them a chance to improve first and with very little to no warning. They don't give you a chance to talk to your colleagues and then lie to them about why you were fired.

Pros: - Some of the smartest people who I've ever worked with. - Great tech stack and culture. - Truly a 'forge your own adventure' mindset.

Cons: People work hard! There is a lot to do, and it is a small company, so often you have to make it happen yourself.
