You don't have to do much to survive.
Managers are very "conservative"; you can spend 30 minutes a day and nobody would notice. The estimate is stupid.
Most engineers are so incompetent, especially the old-school senior and so-called "architects".
They have no idea about modern technology while HPE is trying to get into some newer spaces.
Hire good people, pay them what they're worth, and get rid of the old-school guys, or at least don't let them stay in the way.
HR phone contact twice, then one on-site interview with Manager A and two engineers from the same team, and one phone interview with Manager B one week after the on-site interview.
The interviewer was good. They asked me about the OOPs concepts and told me to write code. They asked questions related to the project I had mentioned. It was a good experience overall.
First, there was a PPT in which they told us about HP, its origin, and the selection process. They also discussed alumni of the college who are already working in HP. Then, there was a written test which had C++ and database questions, and aptitude.
