Pros: A culture code that is reflective of HubSpotters and evolves as the people do. Amidst the challenges of a pandemic and calls for action from social justice movements, the company worked to express and encourage empathy for one another, addressing the matters head-on as the situations evolved. Folks are willing to set aside time to have a chat, regardless of department or team, with the no-door policy adopted to the remote environment, which is such a valuable resource for employees and interns alike! An internship experience that encourages you to think and act like the professional you aspire to be. You are a part of the team as any other engineer, working on the same codebase and contributing to discussions on implementations, priorities, and team dynamics.

Cons: Nothing in particular comes to mind.

Pros: Amazing people. Flexibility and remote work. Week of rest in July.

Cons: I have been at HubSpot for 5 years. It was truly an amazing place to work. Things have taken a huge turn in the last year or so. Yamini cares a lot more for investors than employees. A toxic performance culture has taken over. Moving the goalposts on career growth to completely unreachable levels. You can completely kill yourself with work, and management doesn't care or recognize you. This is leading to massive attrition; the best and brightest are moving on in huge numbers. The rest are left totally unmotivated and miserable.

Pros: HubSpot's a really nice place to work. It's a low-stress and well-paying company.

Cons: HubSpot's taking a turn from fun post-startup to big corp, and that rubs up against the culture of folks who have been there a while.
