I spoke to a recruiter based out of Ireland, even though I'm on the East Coast in the U.S. He was very professional, pleasant, and responsive.

I was given a take-home exam. The assignment involved taking some data, manipulating it, and then posting it correctly to an endpoint within a time limit.

I'd suggest getting mundane setup things you might need out of the way before you begin the assignment.

Next, I had an in-person interview that was about 5 hours long. It consisted of:

• A basic coding question with some follow-ups
• A system design question
• Culture and fit questions
• An enjoyable question on database design

This interview included:

• An easy-level LeetCode/HackerRank question.
• A database design question.
• A system design question.
• Some questions on leadership and culture.
