The first round is the coding assessment. HubSpot prides itself on creativity, but they literally give the same coding assessment every year for interns and even full-time positions. A company so large should take some time to update its coding assessment.
Then came the onsite interview, which comprised two technical interviews and one behavioral interview. Upon arriving for the onsite, I quickly realized that HubSpot lacked diversity.
The interviews went well. Just like the coding assessment, they reuse old questions for interviews word for word. Hence, I asked for different questions. I was surprised that such an "innovative" company uses this poor style of interviewing.
Overall, a mediocre interview experience. The company needs to fix its interview questions (please come up with new ones) and it needs to really work on diversity.
Same as what everyone else stated. They don't even bother to use new questions.
