Pros: I was completely integrated into a team at HubSpot. I was able to work out of the same job board that the other developers were working on and directly impact the projects and goals the team had.

Cons: I was the only intern on my team, and the issues that I was working on were independent projects. On top of this, the internship was remote, so it consisted of me working independently without much communication with others for the majority of the internship.

Pros: - In scale-up mode, so you get to push yourself further than in most companies, and you get to take on a lot of responsibility. - Amazing work colleagues: smart, talented, and some of the nicest people I have ever met. - The culture is really special. The company works hard to create and maintain such a great environment and culture, but it shows. It is one of the most inspirational cultures I have ever worked in.

Cons: None that I can think of. I have never seen a company that genuinely cares about its employees so much. And if you hire really smart people, treat them really well, and give them interesting work to do, bingo, the company does really well!

Pros: - Smart and hardworking peers - Excellent developer tooling - High autonomy - Good resources to learn

Cons: Tighter vacation limits than before, though still reasonable.
