You get an insane amount of autonomy in your role and have the opportunity to make a huge impact for our customers. The people who work here are just the best. The flexibility in work hours and location is incredible. You're trusted to get your work done whenever and wherever you can be most productive. This has made life/work balance so much easier.

Cons: Gender and ethnic diversity in engineering is terrible. Compensation in engineering is lower than other tech companies in Boston.

Pros: Tons of autonomy. If you are smart and driven, you can both make an impact and grow a ton as an engineer. There are teams working across a wide spectrum of initiatives and opportunities to move around. The focus is on results, which is something you have a lot of control over.

Cons: There are at times some growing pains, as HubSpot is constantly growing quickly and needing to adapt. We don't always get it right, but management cares a lot and is always looking to improve.
