Pros

Get to work with smart people, some even with long and successful entrepreneurial histories.

Small Teams

Lots of autonomy is given if you show competence and responsibility.

Limited process / Lots of time to code and be creative without endless meetings.

Devs get legit hardware and tools so you can focus on solving a real problem.

Writing a lot of code from scratch, clean slate.

Cons

Work can bleed into your personal life at times. Not enough lolcats of cash, cats for that matter, in the chat room.

Advice to Management

If you get cheap with developer tools, hardware, or beer, I'm out.
