The next step was a live interview, which also took place on HackerRank.
I was contacted by a recruiter for this. The interview was led by an SWE at IBM and went okay.

Pros: Great work-life balance.
Kind, knowledgeable, and friendly colleagues and managers.
Flexible hours.
Relatively good benefits.
Cons: A lot of the systems are a mess.
Executives have a resistance to new ideas.
Layoffs happen.
There is a lack of proper training and documentation. In many cases, people who worked on a certain feature have left the firm, and no one knows how they did it, and there is no proper documentation for it.
No stock options.
No RRSP match.
Extremely tedious promotion/raise process.
No fully remote option at the time of writing this.
