IBM Watson collected my resume at the University career fair and asked me to apply online.
Shortly thereafter, I was asked to give a HireVue coding test. The coding test was unexpectedly long, lasting 4 to 4.5 hours: 2 hours for a single problem and 2 other coding problems for 35 minutes each. There were other questions that required video responses. In all, there were about 10 questions, including technical and non-technical questions. The technical questions were ML and NLP related.
After this round, there was an hour-long interview with two senior managers from the company. Technical and non-technical questions were asked, and I was asked to code on a shared document.
One two-hour long NLP question.
35-minute long math question.
35-minute long string manipulation question.
Bunch of other questions related to data structures, ML algorithms, and ways to check the accuracy of models.
