Pros: I don’t think there is any reason to work for IBM.

Cons: First of all, they lied in the job description and interviews. I was told the internship would be fully remote, and when I joined, it wasn’t. It was fully offline, and I worked from the customer’s premises. The work environment was horrible; it was not clean, had no toilets, and we were not allowed to leave before 4 PM. I immediately resigned, and even that didn’t go well. My manager kept stalling my resignation; he was not replying to any of my emails or calls for 10 days. When I finally got his approval on the resignation, HR made me sign a document stating I had received my full salary payment, even though I hadn’t. They also told me I would need to wait for 2 weeks from my last working day to receive my employment documents, and I waited much longer as the HR offboarding employee was on vacation. They made me lose an employment opportunity at another company because of this delay.

Pros: Great work culture. Work-life balance is good. Policies for new mothers are also good.

Cons: Distance from city is more. Traveling headache.

Pros: Work-life balance was always there.

Cons: Salary hikes are very less. They prefer to hire new employees for a higher package, and slowly that new hire’s salary will also be normalized in the next two years with no hikes.
