IBM has been in business for a very long time and has several innovations and research in the pipeline. It is one of the largest service and technology companies. It also has exposure to several different sectors, naming a few would be:
* Finance
* Automobile
* Healthcare
* Insurance
* Pharma and Biotech.
Cons: It is very large, and growth has been slow for the United States employees. Cutbacks are constant, and it is a survival game.
It would help to keep jobs onshore, since the customer and business presence is in the United States.
