Development Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Initially, I had two 30-minute phone interviews with hiring managers.

After that, I was invited on-site for a formal interview, which consisted of:

  • Eight 30-minute one-on-one interviews
  • A seminar
  • A lab tour

A week later, I received a call from a manager welcoming me onboard. The official offer arrived two days after that.

Questions

Most questions had to do with my experience and research interests.

There were no unexpected questions.

A large portion of the interview was to ensure a good fit with the group's dynamic.
