As always, HR was in a hurry to close the position and scheduled the F2F interview for the next day. It took 90 minutes to find a room where the interview could be held.
Once I was seated, they informed me that someone from Pune would be conducting the interview. The interview lasted for almost an hour, and I was asked to wait while my feedback was shared with HR.
After 15 minutes, HR called and told me I had cleared the first round and that the managerial round would take place in the next 30 minutes. I was asked to complete other formalities, like registration and a fingerprint scan, for their records.
After 30 minutes, HR stated that the panelist was busy with a call and suggested I have lunch before continuing. After waiting for another 60 minutes, HR informed me that the managerial round would not be possible that day. I was told to leave and that they would contact me to schedule the interview within the week.
I left and waited the entire week, but it was not scheduled. I called HR after 5 days, and she apologized, explaining there had been some confusion and the open position was for a Splunk Developer, not a DevOps Engineer.
What kind of treatment is this from such a renowned MNC? I emailed HR and her lead, and I messaged them on LinkedIn, but as expected, they treat themselves as gods and did not reply to my messages.
